Looking for free and discounted Naples attractions? Naples may have a reputation for being expensive, but locals have more ways to visit museums, gardens, wildlife attractions and other popular destinations for free—or for much less—than many people realize.
Collier County residents can get free admission to certain attractions on designated days, while other Naples-area destinations offer library passes, Florida resident specials and discounts for teachers, military members, students, seniors and qualifying families. A few worthwhile attractions are even free year-round.
Below you’ll find some of the best free things to do in Naples when admission would normally cost money, along with recurring Naples resident discounts and other ways to pay less. I’ve organized everything by destination and included links to the attraction and specific discount program whenever possible.
Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens
FREE for Collier County residents the first Saturday of every month.
Naples Zoo gives Collier County residents free admission on the first Saturday of every month, giving locals 12 opportunities a year to visit without paying regular admission. Adults need proof of Collier County residency.
If your photo ID has an out-of-area address but you own property in Collier County, qualifying property or utility documentation with matching photo ID may also be used to establish residency.
Also FREE: Children age 2 and younger.
DISCOUNTED: Reduced admission is available for seniors age 65+ and qualifying active or retired military.

Naples Botanical Garden
FREE during Library Cardholder Days.
Collier County Public Library cardholders can receive free Garden admission for two adults and all children in their household during Naples Botanical Garden’s scheduled Library Cardholder Days. In 2026, the free week was June 8–14.
FREE for kids during summer: Children ages 4–17 receive free admission June 1 through September 30. Children age 3 and younger are free year-round.
FREE for active-duty military families: Naples Botanical Garden participates in Blue Star Museums, providing free admission to qualifying active-duty military families from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day.
DISCOUNTED for Collier County residents: During the summer season, Collier County residents receive reduced adult admission with proof of residency.

Free Things to Do With Your Collier County Library Card
Free attraction passes aren’t the only valuable library-card benefit available to Naples residents. Your card includes several perks you may not know about.
The Baker Museum at Artis—Naples
FREE the last Wednesday of every month.
Art After Hours gives everyone free admission to The Baker Museum on the last Wednesday of each month from 6–9 p.m. The evening also includes live music.
FREE with a Collier County library pass: Collier County Public Library cardholders can check out a pass providing free museum admission for two adults.
FREE with Bank of America Museums on Us: Bank of America, Merrill and Bank of America Private Bank cardholders receive one free general admission during the first full weekend of every month. An eligible card and photo ID are required.
FREE for children: Ages 17 and younger are always free.
FREE for qualifying active-duty military families: The Baker Museum participates in Blue Star Museums from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day.
DISCOUNTED: Reduced admission is available for full-time students and active military. Visitors with a qualifying SNAP EBT card and photo ID can also receive deeply discounted admission through Museums for All.

Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON)
FREE with a Collier County library pass.
Check out a CMON Library Access Pass from a participating Collier County library for free admission for up to four people. The group must include at least one adult and one child.
FREE for local teachers: Qualifying Collier County teachers receive free admission during regular museum hours with current school ID and photo ID.
FREE for babies: Children younger than 1 are free.
FREE for active-duty military families: CMON participates in the seasonal Blue Star Museums program.
DISCOUNTED: CMON offers reduced admission for Collier County residents, qualifying EBT/SNAP/WIC cardholders, military members and first responders.

Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center
FREE for Collier County residents the second Saturday of every month.
The Environmental Learning Center normally charges admission, but Collier County residents receive free admission on the second Saturday of each month.
Inside you’ll find a 2,300-gallon mangrove aquarium, hands-on exhibits and displays devoted to Southwest Florida’s estuaries, research and wildlife.

FREE for children under 6.
DISCOUNTED for Florida residents: Corkscrew offers an annual late-summer Florida resident promotion. In 2026, Florida residents received 50% off admission during September.
DISCOUNTED for college students: Full-time college students with valid school ID receive reduced admission.
DISCOUNTED for U.S. military: Reduced admission is available with military ID.
DISCOUNTED for children ages 6–14: Reduced youth admission is available.

Bird Gardens of Naples
FREE guided sanctuary tours.
This nonprofit parrot rescue and sanctuary is one of the more unusual free attractions in the Naples area. Guided public tours give visitors a chance to see rescued parrots while learning about their care and conservation.
There is no admission fee, although donations to support the sanctuary are appreciated. Check the current tour schedule before making the drive.

Revs Institute
Revs Institute isn’t free, but several groups qualify for a standing admission discount.

FREE admission for everyone, year-round.
Located in Naples’ restored historic railroad depot, the museum explores how railroads and transportation helped transform Naples and Southwest Florida.

The museum explores Marco Island history from the Calusa through its pioneer years and modern development. It’s particularly known for exhibits related to the remarkable Key Marco archaeological discoveries. You don’t need to be a Marco Island resident to visit for free.

River Park Aquatic Center
FREE general admission year-round.
This City of Naples aquatic center includes a six-lane, 25-yard pool, teaching and catch pool, zero-depth beach-entry pool, interactive water feature and a 360-degree waterslide. You don’t need to wait for a special free-admission day.
